Warranty conditions
GreenOptima guarantees that each item it supplies meets normal requirements of reliability and usability and complies with existing government regulations.
The warranty for the products of GreenOptima which have factory-set serial numbers applies to all products. This includes replacement for the part if a manufacturing or material defect is found within 24 months of purchase by GreenOptima. All warranty claims must first be reported to GreenOptima. GreenOptima will then consult with the manufacturer to find the best possible solution. This depends on the product and the available service, shipment or service visit to the customer.
Replacement
If GreenOptima decides to replace the product and offer you a brand new one, you will be charged the usual percentage for depreciation/usage costs. In that case, you must make a new choice within one month. Repair and/or replacement does not reopen the warranty period.
If you send the item to be repaired or replaced, it must be packaged appropriately: the best is of course the original packaging.
If a part is replaced during repair within the warranty period, the part that is replaced becomes the property of GreenOptima.
No warranty
The warranty does not apply if the defect or fault is clearly due to negligent maintenance or if the wear and tear can be considered normal. Furthermore, in the following cases: – If changes in or to the item or device have been made by third parties. – If the date on the delivery note has been changed or made illegible. – If the purchaser does not provide GreenOptima with the appropriate place, opportunity or time to investigate and rectify the fault. Cleaning, operating errors and antenna complaints are of course not covered by the warranty
The guarantee is invalidated if the product has been used improperly, connected incorrectly, assembled incorrectly and/or incorrectly, wrong mains voltage, lightning strike, damage or other causes beyond the control of GreenOptima. The guarantee shall never apply to compensation for costs or damage caused by modifications or repairs made by the buyer to the products or if the products have been used for purposes other than for which they were intended or if they have been treated or maintained in a negligent or incompetent manner.
Determination date
The date you submit the complaint is decisive in determining which regulations apply. If the complaint proves to be justified GreenOptima will decide whether to repair or replace the product, depending on the defect.
If a defect is irreparable for any reason, you have six months to choose a replacement item from GreenOptima, taking into account the same compensation percentage as for the duration of the guarantee.
No claim
This warranty cannot be claimed in the following cases:
- Overheating by central or other heating.
- If the repairs have been carried out by third parties other than the manufacturer/supplier or on his instructions.
- If the goods are intended for use other than domestic use.
- In case of external calamities such as lightning strikes, natural disasters, etc.
- If the purchaser has not given the Greenoptima webshop sufficient opportunity to remedy the complaint
- Injudicious use or negligent maintenance
- Discolouration or deviations of a minor nature that are technically unavoidable and generally accepted according to trade custom.
- If the buyer is in default of fulfilling his obligations.
Indirect costs
Indirect costs caused by the temporary non-operation of the defective item are not eligible for reimbursement.
Shipping costs
Shipping costs for returning the items do not qualify for reimbursement.
GreenOptima is not obliged to provide any guarantee other than that specified in this article.
